The site is for a new 1,300 MW CCGT Power Station

CCGT power generation is the most energy efficient and clean method of fossil fuel for generation.

The CCGT plant burns natural gas, which turns a gas turbine with the waste heat used to turn a steam turbine.

Once complete the CCGT Site will supply enough power to supply the needs of around 1.5 million homes Site test on Unit 1 – 430 MW.

Areva T&D type FKG 1F- SF 6 Generator Circuit Breaker type switchgear.

Scope of work primary injection on the main protection CTs Ratio 15,000 / 1A.

Testing of Open Delta VT ratio17,000 to 110 volts.

All work completed to the satisfaction of the EDF commissioning team.
